Major Chakras Light and Shadow

			Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheel". There are seven major chakras in the body and numerous secondary chakras. The seven chakras are spinning wheels of different vibrations of light that are located along the spine from the top of the head to the base of the spine. Life force energy enter and exit through the chakras. A Chakra is blocked when you are living from the "shadow" traits below, and not the "light"

Relax your body, clear your mind, and sit for a few minutes getting centered. 1. Grounding - visualize a cord of pure white light extending from your 2nd chakra (navel area) into the center of the earth 2. Visualize a golden sun above your head, which you know is a divine gift from our creator 3. See and feel a rain shower of golden light pouring down from the sun and into your 7th chakra (top of your head) 4. Direct the divine light down your spine, clearing each chakra long the way. 5. Allow the light to pause at each chakra location, cleansing and healing it of any darkness. Visualize clear violet at the crown, deep indigo blue at your forehead, blue at your throat, green surrounded by pink at your heart, bright yellow at your solar plexus, pure orange at your navel, and intense red at the base of your spine  6. Visualize the golden light flow down your grounding cord of light and into the earth's center, where any negativity and darkness from the cleansed chakras is dissolved
